LEAH WALSH - WILLIAM WALSH

Yet another player who stands before the cameras and fakes his way
through tearful interviews, claiming to be heartbroken.

Everyone close to Leah Walsh feared the worst when her car was found
by her father on the side of the road, locked and no sign of Leah anywhere.
Yet those who truly loved her, and were close to her, clung to hope...that is,
except for one person. The one person who knew that Leah wasn't coming
home. The one despicable person who let her family suffer, fear and agonize
over her disappearance.

William aka Bill Walsh has confessed to Law Enforcement that he strangled
(his word "choked) Leah during a violent argument. Then leaving her body
where it lay, he gathered up his laundry and took it to the laundromat. While
out and about he ate a meal at McDonald's, plotting and planning how he was
going to get out of the mess he'd made. Then, plan formulated, he waited
until late that next night and he took Leah's body and threw it out into the
weeds as if he were throwing out the trash.

He staged the vehicle and he returned, not once, but twice to the scene
of the crime. One of those times was to throw out her purse to lend credence
to the random attack he had staged. Locking the car and making sure there was
nothing really wrong with the flat tire, Walsh seems to have been concerned
with not damaging the vehicle, or having someone really steal the car,
after all, it's his property with her gone.

Walsh reportedly, "allegedly" has a girlfriend or girlfriends on the side, but that
wouldn't stop him from being angry if Leah told him she was leaving or divorcing
him. And it's clear from a friend who received text messages from Leah during
the fight, that Leah had clearly had enough. Referencing something that was
to her so terrible that divorce was the only option at this point, it's
obvious Leah was ready and committed to breaking free.

Yet even though Walsh has confessed, the spin has already begun. His attorney
claims the confession was coerced under duress. At some point Walsh decided
to do the right thing and confess, probably because he knew the police had the
goods on him. But it appears that instead of continuing to take responsibility
for what he's done, he'll go along with the spin to try and mitigate his actions.

After all, facing the sentence he's likely to get, he probably hopes his lawyer
can pull a rabbit out of a hat and get him off scot free, or at least shave some
time off a sentence. He should have enjoyed that order from McDonald's. It's
likely to be the last McD's order he ever eats.

Anne Pressly - News Anchor dies

Sad news today, Anne Pressly, the Arkansas news anchor from KATV
has died as a result of her injuries she suffered as a result of a beating.
Anne was 26 years old.

On the news cast yesterday there was a report that almost every bone
in her face was broken and that she had been severely beaten on her
face, neck and head. Doctors had reduced the swelling in her brain
and had been optimistic about her recovery even though she was
still in critical condition.

Whoever administered the beating and robbery of Anne Pressly is now
a murderer and I hope that Law Enforcement is able to find that person
and prosecute them to the fullest.

KATV has set up a $30,000 reward fund for information. Details are on
their website http://www.katv.com/

INFAMOUS MURDERERS - LISA MICHELLE LAMBERT

LISA MICHELLE LAMBERT

Lisa Michelle Lambert is currently incarcerated at Massachusetts Correctional
Institute at Framingham, Framingham, Massachusetts serving life without
parole
for first degree murder of 15 year old Laurie Show.

Lambert was convicted on July 20, 1992 for the December 19th, 1991 stalking,
and brutal stabbing murder. Investigators for the defense stated that it'd
been brought to their attention by those they'd interviwed that "Lisa Lambert
was a serious liar and very good at it." Between her various changing stories
about the killing, claims against her co-conspirators/killers, and her claims
against local police officers who were investigating the murder, Lambert has
certainly lived up to those claims.

Lambert was previously incarcerated in Cambridge Springs Correctional
Facility, Pennsylvania but was transferred to Clinton, New Jersey, then to
the Women's Correctional Facility at Baylor, Delaware. Later she was
transferred to Framingham, Massachusetts.

Lambert's co-conspirators Tabitha Buck was convicted of second degree murder
and received a life sentence. Lawrence Yunkin intially received a year in prison
under a plea bargain, but that deal fell through because of his perjury and he
was sentenced to 10 to 20 years. Yunkin served 12 years and was released in
2004.

1992: Lambert filed post verdict motions claiming that her conviction was
"against the weight of the evidence."

1994: The physical findings at the crime scene, the testimony at trial of the
defendant, the trial testimony of Hazel Show, the history of ill will between
defendant and the victim and the circumstantial evidence developed at trial
all lead to the conclusion that defendant was guilty of the murder of Laurie
Show.

1996: Lambert filed a lawsuit claiming that prison guard James Eicher had
attacked her six times during 1994, and that another official had fondled her.
Further, that she was videotaped during a strip search. Eicher was convicted
of aggravated indecent assault and sentenced to two years in prison.

1997: Lambert was freed briefly when a federal district judge ruled that
Lambert was "actually innocent." A Federal Appeals court overturned the
ruling and Lambert was returned to prison. The court found that Lambert
had brought her case to the Federal Courts prematurely without exhausting
her opportunities for appeal in Pennsylvania.

1997: Lisa Lambert's appeal - DENIED

1998: Conviction upheld, Lambert's claim that she was framed by prosecutors
rejected.

1998: Request for release during appeal- DENIED

2003: Eight Law Enforcement Officers cleared of misconduct in Lambert's case.

2005: Appeal to the Supreme Court - Supreme Court refused to hear her case.
Incarcerated in Clinton, N.J. Lambert has now exhausted all of her
appeals. She will continue to serve out her life sentence.

2007: A Lancaster County judge has determined that a civil lawsuit filed by
State Correctional Institution-Cambridge Springs inmate Lisa Michelle Lambert
against administrators at the facility for allegedly failing to prevent her from
being sexually abused by employees was scheduled to be heard by a jury.

2007: The state of Pennsylvania has decided to settle a lawsuit brought by
convicted killer Lisa Michelle Lambert, who claimed she was sexually assaulted
by guards at the Cambridge Springs State Correctional Institution. The civil
lawsuit had been placed on hold until Lambert had exhausted all of her appeals
in her criminal case. The money, $35K, will go to pay court costs, restitution,
and if any is left, will go to Lambert's parents, who are raising her and Lawrence
Yunkin's daughter.

LISA MICHELLE LAMBERT REGARDING:

Law Enforcement Officers who investigated the case:
"Six months before the murder, three East Lampeter cops gang-raped me."
"They're really after me because one of the rapists is the father of my child."
"I think that the police officers are afraid that my daughter is one of their
children. That's what I think."

REALITY CHECK: Lawrence Yunkin "I got court records that 99.98
percent changes that I'm the father. I mean you can't get any closer than that.
(Roche BioLawrmedical Laboratories)

The Officers were investigated and cleared, and one Officer in particular
who was targeted by Lambert was proven to be on his honeymoon.

ABOUT THE MURDER:
At the time of the trial Lambert claimed Yunkin wasn't present.

By 1992 Lambert claimed : "I took the blame for Butch because I was afraid
of him. He pushed me around, he slapped me. I was scared. I thought he'd hurt
our baby. He told me to take the blame because I'd get less time than him.
He promised me that. He begged me, he ordered me, he told me I had to do it.

ABOUT STALKING LAURIE SHOW:
"The story by the prosecution that I pursued her or stalked her is ludicrous.
Basically, she had tried a number of times to kick me in the stomach, and I
would just push her back. She would just yell at me and try to kick me, and I
pushed her back. And that is the worst thing I ever did was push her back."

ABOUT THE MURDER:
" they had only intended to cut off hanks of Laurie's hair, as a prank."
"When Tabby Buck's attack turned brutal, I tried to drag Laurie
away but then fled the apartment in terror."

Forrest Sawyer, journalist asked Lambert about Laurie Show's death:
Lambert: "It's very sad."
Sawyer: "you do not look sad."
Lambert: "I'm very sorry about what happened, but I wasn't the cause of it.
I don't know what else to say."

ABOUT PRISON:
"In prison, you have to watch what you say."

Laurie Show's aunt: "Lisa Michelle Lambert has never
once expressed regret, remorse or sympathy for the loss
of Laurie Show."

UPDATES: The Murder for Breast Implants Plot

If you thought the story was already bizarre, you haven't seen
anything yet!

Local Colorado news outlets have reported that several weeks before
the plot to murder Hyun Sook Weis was uncovered, she had already
bailed her son, Nikita Lee Weis, out of jail. Not only that, but she'd been
helping him out by providing him with money.

Why did he end up in court you ask? For attempted kidnapping with a
deadly weapon
. The victim? He'd assaulted Sophia Alsept. Yep. The same
erstwhile siren who wanted so desperately a new boob job.

It seems Alsept has been wanting bigger breasts for awhile and Nikita
hatched the not so bright idea to give his not quite sexy siren an
"I'm sorry for beating your ass gift." He decided that the quickest
way to get back into her good graces was to off his mother, steal
her money and give Sophia the plumped up bazooms to enhance her thin
frame. Local Court records allegedly show that Juan Gonzalez and Brandon
Soroka, the pals Nikita recruited to do the deed, both attacked Hyun Weis
with a baseball bat.

Nikita apparently is like many young'uns in that he underestimated and
misjudged his mother's reactions.

Not only did she not meekly submit to being beaten on the head with a
to summon help, she actually chased one Nikita's pals out of the house and
threw a teapot at his dumb ass!

Feisty Hyun Weis is doing okay, but it's doubtful she ponied up the bail
money this time.

Infamous Murderers - Tracey Tarlton

TRACEY TARLTON:

Tracey Tarlton, age 51, is incarcerated at the Christina Melton Crain Unit in
Gatesville, Texas, serving a 20 year sentence for the homicide of Steven
Beard. Tartlon shot Steven Beard and although he had appeared to be
recovering from the shooting, he died from a blood clot, a complication
as a result of the shooting.

Tarlton's eligibility date for Parole is February 26, 2011, after serving 10 years
of a 20 year sentence negotiated with prosecutors for her testimony. The
maximum sentence release date listed is: February 2, 2021.

Tracey Tarlton suffered from depression, substance abuse, suicidal tendencies,
and hearing voices telling her to kill herself and she sought treatment. If Celeste
Beard hadn't attended that same treatment center, Tracey Tarlton's life would
have been quite different. Celeste Beard now claims that she and Tartlon were just
friends, although evidence suggests, as Tracey Tarlton has always claimed, that they
were indeed lovers.

But that relationship was toxic for Tarlton. Eight months later she would shoot
a man.

Although manipulated by her friend and lover Celeste Beard, Tracey Tarlton
was the one who took her own gun, raised it and shot Steven Beard. A shot
that eventually caused his death. Tartlon is responsible for her own actions
and unlike Celeste Beard, has admitted her role.

After Steven Beard's death Tracey Tarlton took the blame and protected
Celeste Beard. Beard however had resumed her lifestyle, jettisoning her
lover to her fate and marrying yet again. Tarlton realized that she was to
take the sole blame for the death that her lover Celeste Beard had planned,
the murder of her husband Steven Beard.

TRACEY TARLTON:
Should I be believed because of my mental health ? I don't know about that.
You know? All I know is that I'm telling you the truth.

I did it for Celeste.

My diagnosis is bipolar with psychotic tendencies. I've heard voices in the past,
telling me I needed to kill myself. You know you need to end it. This is the right
thing to do. I have been suicidal many, many years. You know and still am
sometimes.

ABOUT CELESTE & STEVEN BEARD:
She (Celeste Beard) often called him disgusting. She thought that he was a
ridiculous, old, fat man. It wasn't just Steven's physical appearance that she
hated. It was the way he treated her. He just emotionally crushed her all the
time, ran her down, and belittled her and berated her and taunted, tortured
her emotionally until it left her in these really depressed suicidal states.

She would become terrified about that (divorce). She would say she couldn't,
that he would hunt her down. She could never get out from under him.Celeste
felt like a prisoner in her own home. She came up with outlandish ways to
knock him out. He drank a lot of vodka, but she would take the vodka bottle
and pour most of it out and fill it up with everclear, which is higher proof
alcohol. Or she would take sleeping pills and grind them up and put them in
his food. This would make Steve pass out early so Celeste could leave. Also,
because of his age, this would help serve as a slow poisoning.

Celeste had me totally convinced that Steven's abuse was going to lead her
to suicide. I wanted to help her. I just saw this woman that I loved in a
desperate situation trying to find a way to survive this man that was so awful.

ABOUT THE SHOOTING:

She had a plan. She wanted me to shoot him at Toro Canyon with my shot gun.
I was willing to shoot him, and I went and did it.

I walked into Steven's room, stood at the foot of his bed, raised my gun and took
aim where I was supposed to take aim and pulled the trigger. What I was thinking
about was Celeste's instructions. I was thinking about Celeste.

I had stepped into a space that was just numb when I went into that bedroom,
and I shot him.

REALIZING SHE'D BEEN DUPED:
When I started realizing Celeste had been lying to me all along, that this man was
not abusing her, that she had married him for his money, that she had been lying
to me about our relationship, all of it was a farce.

I think she manipulated me from the beginning.
I know what the truth is.

TWIST IN THE TALE:
Celeste Beard was audio taped in a conversation to one of her
daughters in which she stated she had hired someone to kill
Tracey Tarlton, to prevent her from testifying.

Kathryn Casey covered the trial in her book "She Wanted
It All: A True Story of Sex, Murder, and a Texas Millionaire

Casey Anthony enters plea of Not Guilty

It's not surprising that Casey Anthony has entered a not guilty plea
given the tons of spin coming from her attorney Jose Baez.

If anyone had any hopes of her admitting to anything that tarnishes
the over weening self image that she has of herself, those hopes are
seeded in barren soil. Let's face it, Casey Anthony confessing would
mean less media coverage for herself or Baez. Even bad publicity is
good publicity as they say and this attorney, and this client think
they're celebrities.

November 5, 2008 is the trial date for the fraud charges but we're
not likely to see a trial for the murder charges until sometime next
spring. I say this because it's likely Baez will spin this out for as
long as possible, especially since the defense is stating Anthony
may represent herself with him as co-chair.

If little Caylee's death had been a pre-meditated act as law enforcement
believes, it was a cold and calculated act. Although nothing can justify
the death of a child, particularly by murder, one wonders at her motivation.
Was it jealousy over the child's attachment to the grandmother? Did she
wish to resume a carefree childess life? Or a combination of the two?
What possible motivation could she have had to plot the death of her
child?

From all accounts Cindy and George Anthony would have willingly raised
little Caylee, freeing Casey to party hardy. However, since they were
reportedly trying to get her to take responsibility and to push her out of
the nest, I imagine that even had she turned over custody to them and
left she would have still felt as if they were judgemental of everything
she did. But that was an outlet she could have taken advantage of and she
knew it.

Perhaps it simply comes down to her own words "Maybe because I'm a
spiteful bitch."

UPDATE: Casey Anthony will be arraigned on first degree murder charges
and the additional charges on October 28, 2008, Judge Strickland.

Casey Anthony's pre-trial hearing for the financial fraud charges is
November 5, 2008, Judge Strickland.

Casey Anthony - Grand Jury Indictment

Today Casey Anthony was again arrested. This time on the charge of
premeditated capital murder. The indictment comes as no surprise
to many of the true crime armchair pundits following events in the case.
To others it comes as a shock because they cannot fathom why a mother
would kill her own child. To her supporters it's a conspiracy by authorities
to make Anthony the scapegoat for their failures, or to further their careers.

As history has shown, there have been countless murders of children by
their parents, usually for gain or some professed reason. However, many
of the murders were done for no reason discernable by society.

If convicted, and if the State's Attorney is to be believed, there exists
enough viable evidence to show that Casey Anthony is only the latest in
a long line of infamous parental killers.

Her refusal to speak and her various theories for the disappearance of
Caylee doesn't make Casey unique, or clever. It makes her despicable.

Casey Anthony was indicted on the 7 charges listed below. There is NO
BAIL on capital murder charges and Anthony will sit in the Orange
County jail until her trial(s).

1. First Degree Murder (Capital)

at approximately 12:00 pm."

Casey Anthony Case headed for Grand Jury

It's a development that must have brought a sigh of relief to Casey Anthony's
lawyer Jose Baez. Preparing for a trial on financial and fraud charges for his
client, while knowing that a much more serious charge was just around the
corner must have been a little like tip toeing around an alligator waiting to
snap.

It's been reported that the grand jury will be meeting on this coming week,
and that members of her family and law enforcement will be called to testify.
Further, that the purpose of presenting this case to the grand jury is to seek
homicide charges.

If ever Casey Anthony had wished to claim that Caylee's disappearance and
probable death was the result of an accident, that time is long gone. If it had
been so, one would think that her parents and sibling and attorney would
have been proclaiming it to the skies prior. Since the main story seems to
be that Casey is keeping silent is for the child's safety, and that Caylee isn't
deceased, upcoming revelations in a future trial are likely to be that much
more shocking.

Homicide. Deliberate? Pre-meditated? Intentional? Those are questions
that won't be answered until a trial but the mere fact that the DA is
seeking that charge hints that the authorities may have more compelling
evidence than what we've all been privy to.

Casey Anthony's days as a free bird are quite likely becoming very limited...
and counting down.

Casey Anthony Protesters escalate

Some of the protesters at the Anthony house apparently have formed into
a group complete with a sign, bumper stickers, and logos. They reportedly
call themselves "Justice for Caylee."

Protester Kathy Harris was previously interviewed and asked why she was
protesting at the Anthony's home. Her response was that she is a big child
advocate and that she "was there for Caylee." She reportedly is now a part
of this group.

This same Kathy Harris left the Anthony home where the protests take place,
(where they are presumably protesting against Casey Anthony), and followed
George Anthony to another location where she accosted him. Police were called
in by Anthony when the verbal exchange became ugly.

Protesting outside the home is one thing. Following the person in order to
engage in or provoke a verbal confrontation is harassment. Whatever motive
she might feel she has to "be there for Caylee" her rights stop where
George Anthony's begins. Her actions in following Anthony in order to confront
him also doesn't reflect well on her motives. Instead she's no longer protesting,
but immersing herself into a role in which she has no authority.

In addition, several other protesters are facing charges for their less than stellar
actions while outside the Anthony home.

It's a short leap from protester to stalker or harasser and IMO these people have
willingly embraced the leap.

Infamous Murderers - Pamela Smart

PAMELA SMART:
Pamela Smart, aged 40, is incarcerated in Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for
Women, Bedford Hills, New York, a maximum security prison.

Convicted for accomplice to the first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder
and witness tampering for the murder of her husband Gregg Smart. Pamela Smart
was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole. Smart had manipulated four
teen aged male students, one of them her lover, to murder Gregg Smart.

1991: Smart began serving her sentence at the Goffstown Prison for Women in
Goffstown, New Hampshire. She racked up 22 disciplinary reports, 20 for minor
and 2 for major infractions.

1993: Smart was transferred to Bedford Hills Correctional Facility. By her own
words she is "not a model prisoner" and still gets written up. Smart also claims
her transfer to Bedford was to make it difficult for her and her lawyers to work
together on her appeals and for her family to visit. Smart resides in the mental
ward of the correctional facility where she is assigned to assist inmates with
severe mental illness.

1996: Smart was beaten by two other inmates. As a result of the altercation
Smart required plastic surgery due to a fracture of her eye socket and her
nose being broken. Due to the fracture she now has a plate in her head and
reportedly no feeling on the left side of her face. Smart also had surgery to
repair a cyst on the back of her knee from being kicked.

A friend and fellow inmate was present at the fight but did not interfere to
aid or assist Smart because one of the other inmates was also a friend of hers.

2002: Smart filed an appeal which was denied. U.S. District Court judge rejected
her arguments stating the appeal mirrored Smart's previous attempt to win a new
trial "except for a few minor stylistic changes. Smart's case did not meet the
requirements for intervention by a federal court.

2004: Petition for "Certificate of Appealability" denied. The court stated some of
her claims were forfeited by not bringing them up before, and that others did not
merit an appeal.

2004: Smart and Carolyn Warmus filed lawsuits against the prison Bedford Hills.
Smart claimed to have been forced to pose for photos by a corrections officer and
that he'd tried to rape her. The photos were subsequently published in the National
Enquirer.

2005: Smart appeals asking for a pardon. Unanimously denied.

2006: A portion of the 2004 lawsuit against Bedford Hills was dismissed.

2008: Bedford Hills was not negligent in Smart's 1996 beating. The Court ruled that
the only ones responsible were the inmates who attacked her.

2008 (October) New York's Attorney General is considering a payout to settle Smart's
Smart's 2006 suit accusing prison officials of treating her unfairly after half nude photos
of her appeared in a supermarket tabloid. After the photos showed up in the National
Enquirer, Smart was on lockdown for more than two months and lost wages from her
job and could no longer perform as a prison teacher's aide.

PAMELA SMART'S VIEW ABOUT THE CRIME & PUNISHMENT:
I have spent 10 years in prison for a crime I had no involvement in. I have been
horribly punished for having an affair. The sentence I received is, in effect, a
sentence of death in that I will never be eligible for parole.

Of course, I regret ever being involved with Bill Flynn. That was a horrible mistake
that I am paying a terrible price for, as I am innocent of any involvement in the plot
to murder Gregg. Yes, I made the mistake of having an affair with Bill Flynn, but I
wish the public would stop defining me by that one mistake. There is more to me
than my worst error in judgement.

ABOUT PRISON LIFE:
Smart: stressful, sad, painful and tragic.

People were told to hate me before I even got here. You don't know what I go
through because of who I am.

It's a very explosive atmosphere in here, very explosive.

Bedtime is the worst part of the day. That's when I think and pray most about
all the wasted lives in my past and present. My spirit gets the most strength
from being busy.

ABOUT HER JOB IN THE MENTAL WARD OF PRISON:
"I love my job. They love me for me, or they hate me for me, they don't know
who Pam Smart is, and I love that.

ABOUT HER MARRIAGE:
What was your relationship was like with him?
Smart: That's one thing I would like left private.

ABOUT THE MEDIA:
I am very different from the media's portrayal of me. I am not a cold, uncaring
individual.

PAMELA SMART'S APPEALS ARE EXHAUSTED. She will serve out her
sentence of LIFE IMPRISONMENT.

Frivolous Blonde lawsuit

When you think you've heard it all there comes another one
that makes you shake your head with derision.

Charlotte Feeney (Stratford Conn.) with locks of BLONDE
purchased a box of hair colour labeled.... BLONDE. Imagine
the horror and dismay when she viewed herself in the mirror
and found she had "accidentally" become a brunette!! The
panic and anguish caused her such suffering that she required
anti-depressants to sooth her troubled mind.

Just long enough to convince an attorney by the name of David
Laudano that she had a case against a big name company,
L'Oreal.

Feeney claimed in her lawsuit that the company had put a
BROWN dye in the box... which ruined her social life, leaving her
traumatized.

Feeney further claimed she can "never return to her
NATURAL BLONDE hue" and "missing the attention that
blondes receive" she had to curtail her socializing and to wear
hats when she ventured out into the public eye.

Hmm, purchasing a BLONDE box of DYE equals NATURAL BLONDE??
Accidentally? Purchasing the box, opening it, pouring it into your
hair and waiting the required time is an accident?

Cue sounds of skeptical laughter!

The company disputed her claims and the court ruled she had not
proved her case. Accordingly the case was dismissed.

IMO Feeney and her attorney, David Laudano should be censored for
wasting the court's time and the taxpayer's money for bringing such
a suit. Also, any salon she might choose to frequent in future ought to
be very cautious, she's liable to sue them for disturbing her natural
blonde hair in some fashion.

Infamous Murderers - Celeste Beard Johnson

CELESTE BEARD JOHNSON:

Celeste (Beard) Johnson is incarcerated at Mountain View Correctional Facility,
a maximum security prison at Gatesville, Texas. Convicted of both Capital murder
and injury to Elderly individual, for the murder of her fourth husband, millionaire
tycoon Steven Beard. Convicted of Solicitation of Capital murder for trying to hire
someone to kill Tracey Tarlton in a bid to prevent her from testifying.

Johnson is serving a life sentence and is currently, as of 2008, 45 years old. The
Texas DCJ lists her Parole Eligibility Date as January 4, 2042, at age 80, at
which time she will have served 40 years of her life sentence.

Deciding that her husband's millions were preferable all to herself Johnson
manipulated her friend and lover, Tracey Tarleton, into shooting her husband.
Steven Beard's death occurred from a blood clot which was ruled a complication
from the gunshot wound, and thus a homicide. (Tarleton's parole eligibility date
is February 26, 2011, after 10 years of a 20 year sentence.) Shortly before
Celeste Beard was incarcerated she married a fifth time, to a Spencer Cole Johnson.

CELESTE BEARD JOHNSON'S VIEWPOINT:
On being sentenced:
My life is over. I'm devastated. I'm scared. I'm terrified. I don't want to go to
prison. I don't want to be with people that have actually murdered somebody.

AT THE TIME OF THE TRIAL SHE SPOKE ABOUT HER MARRIAGE:
I wanted somebody to take care of me and he wanted someone to take care
of and so he asked me to move in. He was just what I needed at the time.
No matter what I ever did, good or bad, in my life, I could tell Steven and he
would forgive me. He did everything for me. I miss talking to him. I miss being,
when I was with him, I was so sure of everything. I loved him with all my heart.
I had everything with Steven. I could have spent, and I did, on whatever
I wanted, whenever I wanted. I did whatever I wanted.

TODAY HER CLAIMS ABOUT THE MARRIAGE:
Life with Steven was all a lie. He changed everything about me. Got rid of my
clothes. Everything. I had long blonde hair he wanted it cut short. I did what he
wanted to do. I was living a lie. Our whole environment was a lie.

ABOUT TRACEY TARLTON:
I had no idea Tracey was homicidal. I don't know why Tracey shot my husband.
Am I responsible for Tracey going into the house and shooting Steven? No, I'm
not responsible for that.
AUDIO TAPE AT TRIAL: (Celeste's voice) I hired somebody to kill Tracey.

ABOUT HER DAUGHTERS WHO TESTIFIED AGAINST HER:

They're lying about everything, even their claims that they loved Steven. They're
the ones that talked behind his back. They hated Steven. They thought he was old.
They thought he was no fun. I hate to admit it, but the only reason why they
could have turned on me was for the money.

ABOUT PRISON LIFE:
I survived because I DO NOT believe in the future that Texas has mapped out
for me. I have hope that justice will prevail because I AM INNOCENT.
I will walk away from this nightmare a free and better woman
Kathryn Casey covered the trial in her book "She Wanted It
All: A True Story of Sex, Murder, and a Texas Millionaire.

Infamous Murderers - Steven Sherer

STEVEN SHERER:
Steven Sherer, convicted in 2000 of the first degree murder of his wife Jami
Sherer who disappeared ten years before. Sherer was convicted in a no body
case by compelling circumstantial evidence.

Sentenced to 60 years in prison in Washington State, the Judge in the case
stated "he wanted to send Sherer away for a long time because he feared
for society and for women should Sherer ever walk free again."

Sherer was no stranger to Law Enforcement and was labeled a habitual
offender:
1980's Convicted for a string of thefts and traffic violations.
1987 Convicted of choking and assaulting a police officer in a drunken rage.
Abusive, controlling and alcoholic, Sherer made Jami Sherer's life a misery.
Sherer was also the last person to see Jami Sherer alive.

After his conviction for Jami Sherer's death, Steven Sherer hatched a plot
behind his prison cell bars to kill Jami's mother Judy Hagel along with his
and Jami's young son by burning her house. The person he chose as his
arsonist instead chose to talk to police.

Sherer: Found guilty of a crime I did not commit!

APPEALS:
Sherer's appeals to date had been denied. However, in February 2008,
a Federal Judge in Seattle Federal Court scheduled a hearing to explore
the issue of why some evidence reportedly uncovered by a tracking dog
after Jami Sherer disappeared wasn't introduced at trial. Sherer and his
lawyer believe it's powerful evidence, enough to prove his innocence.
Since Sherer is also serving time for the attempted murder of Judy Hagel
and his own son any reversal of his murder conviction won't get
him out of jail. However, it would remove his third strike which he
hopes would enable him to be a free man one day.

Infamous Murderers - Diane Downs

ELIZABETH DIANE DOWNS: *UPDATED* NEW INFO, DOCUMENT
LINKS & PHOTO

RECENT PRISON PHOTO

Diane Downs is incarcerated at the Valley State Prison for Women in
Chowchilla, California. She is serving a sentence of life in prison plus
50 years with a 25 year minimum. However, more time was tacked
onto her sentence after her escape from prison in 1987, extending
her sentence to life in prison plus 65 years.

2008 - December 9 - Diane Downs Parole hearing is scheduled to be
heard for a release date in 2009. It's likely she'll appear before the
board via video link from the prison. Even Downs should gain parole,
she will still have a five year sentence for her escape that must be
considered, but that could be written off for good behavior. Downs
however, to this date maintains her innocence.
"Downs' sentence made her eligible for parole consideration after
serving 25 years, and under Oregon law as a dangerous offender, she
will be eligible for a parole consideration hearing every two
years until she is released or dies in prison."
NEW DOCUMENTS:
The Oregon parole board rarely grants such requests.

Downs was was convicted for the 1983 murder of her daughter
Cheryl Lynn Downs, aged 7, and the attempted murders of
Stephen Daniel "Danny" Downs and of Christie Ann Downs, aged
8 who also survived. Contrary to Downs' continued assertions, Dan
remains paralyzed from the chest down, confined to a wheelchair
for the rest of his life. Christie has permanent partial paralysis
on one side of her body."

Downs pulled to the side of the road in May of 1983 and shot into her car,
killing the sleeping Cheryl. Then she turned the gun on her other helpless
children Danny and Christie. She drove slowly to the hospital and then
blamed the killings on a bushy haired stranger.

Diane Downs was diagnosed during the trial as a deviant sociopath.

Downs has been deemed a most litigious convict in the State of Oregon.

1984- June 14 -Diane Downs was convicted of murder, attempted murder
in the first degree, a second account of attempted murder in the first degree,
first-degree assault, and a count of first-degree assault.

1987 - July 11 - DIANE DOWNS' FIRST ESCAPE
Diane Downs was incarcerated at the Women's Correctional
Facility in Salem, Oregon. She dressed herself in multiple layers of clothing,
and climbed over two sets of high security wire topped with barbed wire.
Downs dropped to the ground and hid under a vehicle for a few moments
and then discarding a shredded garment, probably used around her hands,
she then climbed out from under the truck, walked away and hitched a ride
literally across the street. After a eleven day man hunt she was found to be at
a fellow inmates home, with the inmate's husband. She was found less than
a mile from the Oregon Women's Correctional Center.
The prison superintendent at the time stated "She bolted prior to a
planned infusion of extra staffing, designed to provide better
supervision of inmates in the prison recreation yard. She had
it planned. She knew she was going to do it. In fact, she wanted
to do it before we got the yard staffed. She knew it was her best
chance."
A prison hearings officer recommended that Downs spend up to three years
in segregated quarters for escaping.

1987 - November - DIANE DOWNS' MORE ESCAPE ATTEMPTS
Downs was transported to the Edna Mahan, high-maximum Correctional
Institution at Clinton, New Jersey. During her time there Downs made
two escape attempts.
1989 -DIANE DOWNS ESCAPE PLANS
Diane Downs and her "fiance" planned an armed escape. The plan
included smuggling a gun into prison and the taking of one or more
hostages.

1991 - Downs lost her bid for a new trial, claiming ineffective counsel
not only at her trial, but at her appeals. The ruling was that "her
lawyers exercised valid judgments and she failed to prove her claims."
The ruling leaves her with the right to appeal to the Oregon Court of
Appeals. Downs had briefly been returned to Oregon for the hearing.
1991 - August - Downs was transferred from the Oregon Women's
Correctional Center in Salem, Oregon to the prison for women at Purdy,
Pierce County, Washington. Downs was transferred to the prison's
maximum security unit at Gig Harbor by virtue of her prior escape and
escape attempts.

In addition to Downs' escape from the Oregon women's in 1987, she had also
made two escape attempts while incarcerated at a New Jersey prison.
Downs is viewed to be a continuing security threat and was housed in
segregation, spending 23 out of 24 hours in her cell, and when out of her
cell she was restrained." Downs was to remain at Purdy "indefinitely."
1991 - DIANE DOWNS - ANOTHER PLOT TO ESCAPE
A search of Down's cell by Corrections officers turned up a partially sewn
garment that was being modified to resemble the uniforms worn by the
prison guards. Downs denied an escape attempt, stating that the
only time she would attempt to escape would be when her appeals
were exhausted.

1993 - Downs was returned to the state Women's Correctional Center in
Oregon for the duration of a construction project at the Washington state
prison where she had been held since 1991.

1993 - Downs filed a Federal lawsuit against the Oregon State Prison
Officials. because the state refused to allow any visits because the
administrative rules prohibit any contact between an inmate and
her victim. Downs claimed that her daughter Christie had reached the
legal age of being able to act on her own and wanted to visit her.
According to Author Anne Rule "Neither child chose to maintain
communication with Downs, aside from a brief visit shortly after Christie
turned 18."

1994 - June - Downs is transported to Valley State at Chowchilla, California.
DIANE DOWNS - YET ANOTHER ESCAPE ATTEMPT
Downs was the sole occupant of a cell in which the cement supporting the
window frame had been chipped away in an eight inch section in order to
dislodge and separate the window from the building.
1995 - Downs lost a technical appeal. Downs filed an appeal claiming that she
is "illegally" imprisoned and that the order for her to pay restitution was
adopted after she had appealed her convictions. Her argument was that the
sentencing court had lost jurisdiction due to the appeal, so the final judgement
in the case was flawed.

The Oregon Court of Appeals upheld, without comment, the Marion County
Circuit Court's dismissal of Downs' claim.

1996 - Downs filed a 6-inch-thick appeal in Federal court asking to be
released from her life term - plus 50 years.

2000 - Downs filed an appeal claiming her rights were violated because
some investigation notes by a sheriff's deputy that might have produced
evidence favorable to her were not turned over to her defense.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected her claim ruling her
arguments were speculative and that prosecutors don't have to disclose
investigatory material that hasn't led to evidence which could help a
defendant.

2005 - Downs 12th court challenge was thrown out without comment by
the Appeals court. Downs had challenged her sentence stating it did not
comply with a 2004 U.S. Supreme Court ruling dealing with sentencing
Even behind bars Diane Downs considers herself a hottie and more
sexually conversant than "normal" women.

Christie Hugi testifed against her mother and as an adult has become
a social worker. Her brother Danny Hugi remains works as a computer
specialist.

Infamous Murderers - Patricia Columbo

PATRICIA COLUMBO: UPDATED

Patricia and her boyfriend Frank DeLuca were both convicted of the murders of
both her parents Frank and Mary Columbo and her 13 year old brother Michael
in 1976.

Patricia believes she is a good candidate for parole but she has over time changed
and twisted and excused her reasoning for committing the crimes. This year, Sept.
2008, Patricia was again denied parole.

Columbo is eligible to apply for appeal very year. So far, she's been denied.

FRANK DELUCA

Frank DeLuca is incarcerated at Centralia Correctional Center,
southern Illinois.

The Chicago Sun Times report in 1993 had a letter Deluca had
written to friends which Delucca had provided:
"We arrived at that house together, both knowing what was about
to take place. And regardless of what she says, or you may choose to
believe, I am not the person who stabbed that boy one hundred times.
Such was her hatred for her brother, and her family." He has accepted
full responsibility for his actions and is resigned to living out his life behind
bars."

Infamous Murderers - Patricia Krenwinkle

PATRICIA KRENWINKLE:

Patricia Krenwinkle aka Big Patty, Marnie Reeves, Mary Ann Scott,
Cathran Patricia Smith aka Katie.

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=b6e_1194330036
Updated video with Patrica Krenwinkle showing her much more aged
than the above photo.

Manson follower, convicted of her role in the murders of Sharon Tate
and her unborn child Paul Richard, Jay Sebring, Wojciech Frykowski,
Abigail Folger, Steven Parent, Rosemary and Leno LaBianca.

Krenwinkle is incarcerated at Frontera, California in the California
Institute for Women. Patricia Krenwinkel was found guilty of seven counts
of first degree murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder for her
role in the murders at the Tate-Labianca homes.

Krenwinkle dragged Abigail Folger from her bedroom into the living room.
As Folger fought for her life, Krenwinkle chased her out onto the lawn and
repeatedly stabbed her 28 times. Folger's white nightgown was thought to
be red there was so much blood on it. Krenwinkle bragged that Abigail
Folger pled with her to stop stabbing her, saying "I'm already dead."

PATRICIA KRENWINKLE'S OWN WORDS REGARDING
THE KILLINGS:

Krenwinkle: "I stabbed her and I kept stabbing her."
"How did it feel?"
Krenwinkle: "Nothing--I mean, what is there to describe?
It was just there, and it was right."

After the murders Krenwinkle and fellow murderer Susan Atkins
complained "their hands hurt from using the knives on their victims
so many times.
Manson asked "Do you feel any remorse?"
Krenwinkle: "No."

Krenwinkle was present at the scene when Watson shot Steven Parent.
Krenwinkel assisted Atkins in tying up Wojciech Frykowski, Jay Sebring,
Abigail Folger and Sharon Tate. They shot, hung, stabbed and
bludgeoned to death Sebring, Folger and Frykowski. Sharon Tate
Polanski and her unborn 8 1/2 month child Paul Richard were the last
to be murdered.

The next night, Krenwinkel, "Tex" Watson and Leslie Van Houten
entered the LaBianca home. Krenwinkle stabbed Rosemary
LaBianca with such force that her knife bent when it hit Mrs.
LaBianca's collarbone. Krenwinkle carved the word "War" on
the murdered Leno LaBianca's stomach and then rammed
a carving fork into him. She flicked it and made it wobble.
A pillowcase over his head hid the fact that a knife was lodged in his
throat. Krenwinkel dipped her finger in Mr. LaBianca's blood
and wrote on the wall and on the refrigerator "Death to Pigs,
Rise, and Healter Skelter.

Krenwinkel: "I wake up every day and know that I'm a destroyer of life,
and living with that is the most difficult thing of all. That's what I deserve-
to wake up every morning and know that."

Although Krenwinkle claims remorse it has not stopped her from applying
for parole. Krenwinkle was eligible for parole in January of 2008 and she
was denied.

Krenwinkle's next parole date is January of 2009.

Infamous Murderers- Leslie Van Houten

LESLIE VAN HOUTEN:

Leslie Van Houten, follower of Charles Manson was convicted for her role in the
murders of Rosemary and Leno LaBianca in 1969. Van Houten continues to try
and minimize her role in the murders. Van Houten is incarcerated at Frontera
California at the California Institute for Women.

After Manson and "Tex" Watson entered the LaBianca home and tied Leno
and Rosemary with rope, Leslie Van Houten entered the home with Patricia
Krenwinkle. Leslie Van Houten placed a pillowcase over Rosemary's LaBianca's
head, then unplugged a lamp and wrapped the cord around Mrs. LaBianca's neck.
As she heard her husband Leno being stabbed and screaming Mrs. LaBianca
struggled to free herself. Van Houten then held her down on the bed so
Krenwinkle could viciously and repeatedly stab her When Krenwinkle's knife
bent, Van Houten called to "Tex" Watson who entered the room and stabbed
Mrs. LaBianca.

Van Houten then took the knife and stabbed Rosemary LaBianca.
Mrs. LaBianca was stabbed 42 times, 8 of those stab wounds were fatal.
7 of those 8 fatal wounds were in the back. In subsequent parole hearings
the number of times she physically stabbed Rosemary has changed from
"between 10 and 20 to 16, to between 14 and 16 times, then later to
"numerous" times. Van Houten has consistently claimed she thought
LaBianca was already dead before she began stabbing her.
However parole board members have established, and Van Houten has
admitted, that she does not know whether Rosemary LaBianca was
deceased or alive. She has also admitted to stabbing her in the buttocks,
the neck and possibly in the back.

VAN HOUTEN'S OWN WORDS REGARDING THE KILLINGS:
"Do you feel sorry?"
Van Houten: "That's only a five-letter word. It can't bring back
anyone." "What can I feel? It's happened. She's gone. You can't undo
something that's done."
"Do you feel ashamed?"
Van Houten: "What is ashamed?"
"Do you feel like crying?"
Van Houten: "For her death? If I cry, it's for death itself. She's not the
only person who died."
Van Houten: "the more you stabbed, the more fun it was."
Van Houten: "I only think about the death of the Labianca's
when I'm "in court."

Van Houten: "Pat and Susan have a lot more to live with than I do."
Van Houten: Charlie came up to me and asked me, did I believe
enough that I could go with them and that I could kill.
I said: "Yes."
Were you distraught?
Van Houten: No. I was, because it was sad and tragic that violence
had to occur, but I wasn't questioning that it had to occur.
So you felt it was justified, sorry that you had to kill people, but
it was justified to make a statement?
Van Houten: Yes.
Van Houten: they were very frightened.

Van Houten wiped down everything that they had touched. She stole
clothing belonging to Rosemary LaBianca and changed into them.
She stole cheese and chocolate milk from the LaBianca's kitchen and
shared it with her fellow murderers.

Van Houten: You know, I didn't take Mrs. LaBianca's life,
but I feel as responsible as if I had.
"She was dead before you were stabbing her?"
Van Houten: I felt that she was.
Van Houten: I felt responsible for Mrs. Labianca's murder because
I was "there with her" but I don't feel responsible for Mr. Labianca.
"When Tex handed me the knife, I knew he wanted me to do something,
and at that moment I lost all sense of my humanity. I couldn't stop."
Van Houten: "I had a knife and Patricia had a knife.
We just started stabbing and cutting up the lady."
Van Houten: I wiped the bedroom clean of fingerprints after realizing I
had touched the lamp.

No fingerprints of Watson, Krenwinkel or Van Houten were found in the
home. Van Houten later burned the clothes, purse, credit cards and rope
she had stolen. She'd also stolen approx. 10 dollars in change.

Van Houten: "It's... hard for me...sometimes, to accept the fact that
people choose to... believe that I absolutely cannot change that I was
something at 19 and what I am at 33 is irrelevant because the one
that they loved ended when I was 19. And though I understand it, it's
very difficult because life goes on. And, you know, I go on."

She was denied parole in 2007 and given a two year denial.
Van Houten's next parole hearing is set for August 2009.
UPDATE: That parole hearing was delayed until July 6, 2010.

Infamous Murderers - Scott Peterson

SCOTT PETERSON:

UPDATE: CIVIL COURT TRIAL TO BEGIN MAY 27, 2009

Currently on Death Row in San Quentin, California for the murders of
his wife Laci Rocha Peterson and their unborn son Connor. Peterson's
appeals process is just beginning and an automatic appeal will be
presented to the California Supreme Court. He is seeking to have his
conviction overturned.

Sharon Rocha filed a survival action lawsuit against Peterson and was
appointed the administrator of Laci Peterson's estate.
December 2003 CIVIL SUIT:
Sharon Rocha and Dennis Rocha filed a wrongful death lawsuit against
Scott Peterson. Judge Roger Beauchesne ruled that even though Peterson
was found guilty in a criminal trial they will have to again prove his guilt in
the civil trial. The verdict in this civil lawsuit will have NO effect on his
appeals and will not serve to "set him free" or give him a new trial.

The Rocha's have filed for an undisclosed amount and their attorney have
stated that Peterson can settle by admitting his guilt and agreeing to a
payment of 10 million. The Rochas state that the lawsuit is largely symbolic.
They are hoping to ensure that Peterson never sells his story or profits from
it. It's unlikely Peterson will admit his guilt since he's hoping to overturn his
sentence and get out of prison, specifically, off of Death Row.

Peterson was deposed in a videotaped deposition July 12, 2006. He
"took the Fifth," his Fifth Amendment right against self incrimination
at the beginning of the deposition and for another 195 times during the
deposition.

Correction: As of July 2008 the civil lawsuit court date had been
pushed back. It is now slated for May 27, 2009. (Modesto Bee)

UPDATE: PETERSON'S VIEWS REGARDING THE CIVIL TRIAL:
"This civil trial will most likely occur the beginning of next year"
"I truly wish that there was no civil suit, but since there is, I am going to
defend myself. The emotional state that I was in after my family
was abducted and the completely broken state that I was in
once they were found, resulted in me not standing up as I should have.
This case is important, not because of any financial effect, as I am already
deeply in debt, but it is important because my desire and that of my family
is to use any opportunity in a court of law to show my innocence.
