Trial Updates

Susan Polk was convicted of second degree murder with an enhancement for use of a deadly weapon during the commission of a crime.

Jurors say that they concentrated not on her antics, but on evidence, and evidence convicted her.

Neil Entwistle's tentative trial date has been set by the Judge for next year, April 23, 2007.

A Wrongful Death Civil Suit against Michael Peterson was due to be heard in court June 19th, 2006. However, MP filed for bankruptcy which put an automatic stay on any proceedings. Temporarily that is.

Mary Winkler, indicted for shooting and killing her Minister husband, Matthew will have a Bond hearing on June 30th, 2006 and a trial date of October 30th.

Lynn Turner, the convicted anti-freeze killer faces an upcoming second trial. Pre-trial motions have been processed.

Barton Corbin lost his appeal and will stand trial for the murder of his wife and the murder of his former girlfriend. An Appeals court ruled that in each trial, evidence about the other killing can be presented.
